    Ten Black Stars players have arrived from their various clubs ahead of the final round of games for the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifier against the Central African Republic (CAR).



    On Saturday, September, 2,2023, Black Stars gaffer, Chris Hughton named his 25-man squad list which is expected to take on Central African Republic in the ultimate round of games.

    Speaking to Kessben FM, vice president of the Ghana Football Association (GFA), Mark Addo confirmed ten players have arrived at the camp and are ready to start training.

     “Per the information that I have about ten players have arrived in camp and the rest are expected to touch down before Tuesday,” he said.

    He stressed that the others are expected to touch down in the country on Tuesday for the coach and the technical team to have a full squad to train.

    Black Stars lead the pack with nine points, Angola with eight points, Central African Republic with seven points, and Madagascar with two points from five games. 

    The Baba Yara Sports Stadium will host the Black Stars and the Central African Republic on Thursday, September 7 at 4 p.m.
