In Pictures: Black Stars Players Have First Training Session Ahead Of Ethiopia Clash

Ghana Black Stars had their first training session

Ghana Black Stars had their first training session today in Nairobi Kenya. The boys are preparing for the qualifiers game against Ethiopia on Sunday.

A total of 19 players were called up by Coach Kwesi Appiah and they have all reported on the first day of training in Nairobi.

Kwadwo Asamoah withdrew from the squad on Monday citing a recurring injury as the reason reducing the players from 20 to 19.

The team will be camping in Kenya for the next three days before leaving for Ethiopia on Friday to face Ethiopia on Sunday.

Andre Ayew and Jordan Ayew have been recalled to the team after sometime out from the squad.

Ghana have to beat Ethiopia to keep their qualification to next year’s Cup of Nations alive since Sierra Leone’s FIFA ban still holds and no update has been given on that front.
