Kotoko head coach, Seydou Zerbo disappointed with officiating as Kotoko draws with Gold Stars in Bibiani.

Asante Kotoko were fortunate to earn a point away from home in Bibiani as they battled with Bibiani Gold Stars at the Dun’s Park.

Kotoko took the lead through Steven Mukwala but referee Rustum Senorgbe awarded the host a penalty which was missed but the rebound was converted by Adraman Yahaya.

The penalty was a very controversial one as the ball seem to have hit the hand of a Gold Stars player but referee Senorgbe pointed to the spot.

Gold Stars were awarded another penalty but failed to convert it this time around as Prince Owuso missed his kick.

Kotoko head coach, Seydou Zerbo had this to say after the match:  “I am a coach. I can’t gossip or make any complaints about any referees.”

“I train my players on the field but the but the way and manner some referees are handling matches will delay our progress in football in this country.”

Kotoko have failed to win any of their last four matches in the league with all being drawn.
