Richard Ofori could miss the 2022 World Cup in Qatar as the goalkeeper is working hard to return to full fitness ahead of the tournament.

Following the injury of Jojo Wollacott, Otto Addo is waiting for the last report on Richard Ofori before naming his final squad for the World Cup.

Ofori was withdrawn from Orlando Pirates’ Carling Black Label match against Kaizer Chiefs.

Sahara Football understands Otto Addo is currently weighing his options and is considering calling up Asante Kotoko’s Danlad Ibrahim.

Ghana begin their World Cup campaign against Portugal on November 24, before facing South Korea four days later and concluding the group stage against Uruguay on December 2.
