In the Northern Zone, Ampem Darkoa Ladies signaled their intent with a thrilling 3–2 victory over FC Savannah, sealed by dramatic stoppage-time goals. Victoria Banful set the tone before late strikes from Amina Adams and Afishata Mohammed turned the contest on its head, keeping the defending champions top of the table on 22 points.
Northern City Ladies boosted their campaign with a 2–1 triumph over Fosu Royal Ladies, as goals from Rasheda Shahadu and a late penalty by Abdul Rahaman Barikisu proved decisive despite an earlier opener from Twumwaa Jemima.
Elsewhere, Prisons Ladies edged Northern Ladies 2–1 in a closely fought encounter, while Tamale Super Ladies claimed a narrow 1–0 win against Dreamz Ladies. Kumasi Sports Academy and Ashtown Ladies shared the points in a 1–1 draw, leaving the race behind the leaders finely balanced.
Ampem Darkoa Ladies remain top, with Fosu Royal Ladies and Prisons Ladies in close pursuit as the competition tightens heading deeper into the second round.
In the Southern Zone, the spotlight fell on Police Ladies, who produced a commanding display in a 5–0 victory over Halifax Queens, reaffirming their status as defending champions. Goals from Deborah Afriyie, Lydia Arthur, Victoria Teye, Cynthia Obinsrewuo and Gladys Korankye underlined their attacking strength.
Leaders Army Ladies were stunned at home by Epiphany Warriors, conceding an early goal that proved decisive, while Jonina Ladies were held to a goalless draw by Soccer Intellectuals, keeping the title race wide open.
Hasaacas Ladies stayed firmly in contention with a 1–0 win over Oak Ladies, and Ladystrikers secured maximum points against Samartex Ladies to climb the table.
Army Ladies still lead the Southern Zone with 22 points, but Jonina Ladies and Hasaacas Ladies remain firmly within striking distance as the second round unfolds.
