    Women’s Premier League: Ashtown Ladies and Immigration Ladies record first win

    Northern Zone
    Ashtown Ladies recorded their first win of the season after beating Pearpia Ladies 1-0 in their home. Comfort Baah Nuako’s goal helps the Kumasi base team to bag their first 3 points of the season.



    Kumasi Sports Academy ladies were held at home by Ampem Darkoa ladies. The Kusa Ladies and Nanama had a 1-1 draw at the Paa Joe Park.

    Southern Zone
    Hasaccas Ladies Travelled to Tema to beat Halifax Ladies 2-1 to maintain the lead on the WPL table. Goal machines Millot Pokua and Doris Boaduwaa’s goals gave the Dooo girls the maximum 3 points as Monica Addai gave Halifax a consolation goal.

    Struggling Immigrations ladies also recorded their first win of the season with a narrow win. Immigrations Ladies who have drawn 3 and lose 3 of their games beat Sea Lions 1-0 at their home. Gift Appiah’s goal helped the Accra outfit to record their first victory of the season.
