Head Coach of newly-promoted side Bibiani Gold Stars Michael Osei stated that his team didn’t deserve to lose against Asante Kotoko on Friday.

Bibiani Gold Stars suffered a narrow 1-0 defeat against Asante Kotoko at the Dun’s Park in Bibiani, thanks to Isaac Oppong’s wonder strike.

Speaking after the game, Michael Osei believed his team played more than the visitors and deserved to get something from the game.

“It was a very unfortunate game. We don’t deserve to lose the whole three points, it was a balanced game and we even created more chances than Asante Kotoko” he said

” The only small chance they got, they were able to score the goal, but it is part of the game and we have to move on and make sure we do better in the next game” he added.

Asante Kotoko ended Bibiani Gold Stars 26 home game unbeaten run to tighten their grip at the top of the Ghana Premier League table.
