Bechem United coach Kassim Mingle believes his side should have defeated Hearts of Oak on Sunday at the Accra Sports Stadium.

Hearts of Oak were not at their best after they struggled in their first return to Accra after the stadium was closed for renovation last month.

Speaking after the game, Kassim Mingle stated his boys came to win but couldn’t take their chances presented to them in the game.

“We dominated the game but couldn’t take our chances. We dominated and created a lot of chances and couldn’t take them, football is about goals, and no matter how you play; if you don’t take your chances, this is what will happen” Kassim Mingle said.

“We came to win; that’s our plan. In the style we play, we are not afraid of any team. We came here to beat Hearts of Oak but unfortunately, we couldn’t take our chances”

Bechem United sit fourth on the league table after their draw against Hearts of Oak and will be hoping to bounce back when they host Real Tamale United in their next league game.
