    A last-gasp Gladson Awako goal sent home fans at the Accra Sports Stadium into a frenzy as Hearts of Oak completed a dramatic comeback against Bibiani Goldstars in match week four of the ongoing betPawa Premier League. 



    The Accra-based side were coming into this duel on the back of 3 winless games, which culminated in the heightened pressure on the team coming into this game seeing them lay 14th on the log.

    Bibiani GoldStars got their shockingly got their noses in front through Prince Kwabena Owusu in the 10th minute silencing the home fans at the stadium. 

    The visitors resolutely repelled the incessant attacks from their host to hold to the lead heading into the break. 

    The second half began with the same intensity which saw, Hearts build a couple of attacks for the equalizer but it was all nullified by a resolute goal GoldStars defense, which had comprised off Farouk Adams, Adraman, Evans Owusu and DaCosta. 



    In the 67th minute, Hearts of Oak new coach Slavko Matic effected his first game changes, seeing Samuel Inkoom, Eric Esso and Caleb Amankwah make way for Isaac Mensah, Salifu Ibrahim, and Glid Otanga.

    It wasn’t until the 76th minute that, Isaac Mensah made his presence count with an instant response from an Otanga cut-in pass.

    Gladson Awako got the all-important goal in the 87 th minute to help his side bask their first win of the season. 

    Meanwhile, Michael Osei will have to wait for the return encounter to see if together with his charges they can redeem remarked from the bondage of triple loses to Hearts of Oak.
