Accra Great Olympics delivered a soccer punch on visitors, Kotoko in game week twenty-eight of the ongoing betPawa Premier League campaign at Sogakope.

In a must-win game for the host, it was least surprising that they got their acts together quickly as possible, Michael Osei headed in his side’s first goal in the 8th minute of the game after former, Kotoko player, Christopher Nettey zoomed past, Augustine Agyapong to send in the cross for him to nod in first goal.

A few minutes to the end of the first half, Emmanuel Akesseh made it two for the host after Christopher Nettey and Michael Osei combined beautifully to set up him up.

Kotoko’s dismal run will continue for a while as they have only managed a single win in their last thirteen away games, a stat that only affirms that their title charge is slipping through their fingers, that’s if, they haven’t lost it already to Aduana Stars with eight games to end the campaign.

Today’s win clearly gives Kobby Mensah and the Dade boys some respite having crept out of the relegation den, sitting 14th after 28 games whiles Kotoko are down to 6th on the log.
