    WATCH: AFCON 2019: Nigeria scale into the round of 16 after beating Guinea

    Nigeria Super Eagles are the first team in the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations to qualify for the round of sixteen, they achieved this feat after beating Guinea 1-0 on Wednesday.




    Nigeria dominated the game in the first half but failed to score, Ighalo and Iwobi came close to opening the scoring for the Super Eagles but were unlucky.

    Keneth Omeruo scored the only goal in the 74th minute after converting Moses Simon’s header to put Nigeria in the next round.
