    WAFU U17 Championship: Twenty Ghana U17 players disqualified after MRI age test

    CAF have disqualified over 20 players from the Ghana U17 squad for WAFU U17 Championship after they failed a mandatory MRI age test, according to reports.



    The WAFU U17 Championship starts in 21 days and Paa Kwesi Fabin has been forced to begin the search for new players for the tournament that is scheduled to take place in Cape Coast.

    The tournament is scheduled to take place in Cape Coast from June 11 to June 24, 2022, which will see the winner qualifying for the U17 Africa Cup of Nations in Algeria next year.

    The Black Starlets have been drawn in Group A where they will face Nigeria and Togo whereas Group B comprises of Cote d’Ivoire, Benin, Burkina Faso, and Niger.
