    WAFA emerge as winners of The Dream tournament with Sebastian Arnesen

    The West African Football Academy  were crowned champions of the second edition of the of The Dream tournament with Sebastian Arnesen.


    The two day competition was held at the La McDan Park and hosted 6 teams that battled for the ultimate price.

    The participating teams were: WAFA, Attram De Visser Soccer Academy, Sporting club Accra, Academie Planete Du Togo, Krystal Palace Academy and ESA Select Side.

    The tournament was organised by DJB Empire in collaboration with Sebastian Arnesen, the former Chelsea and Man City scout.

    Wafa won the tournament after beating Sporting Club Accra, 1-0. Michael Zuo won the man of the match award after an excellent display.

     

    Wafa presented a very strong side with the likes of Emmanuel Ofori Agyemang, Henry Oware and Emmanuel Intori all featuring for the boys from Sogakope.

    Emmanuel Oware was adjudged  player of the tournament after some fantastic displays at the heart of defence for Wafa.

    WAFA is currently in the division one of Ghana football after being relegated from the premier league last season. The academy boys are hoping to qualify to the premier league next season.

    Sebastian Arnesen and DJB Empire are hoping to organize more of such talents across the country to unearth talents and guide them achieve their dreams of becoming professional football players.
