Dr. Bawumia highlighted that the Gambaga Sports Complex would greatly benefit the youth by providing a platform to showcase their sporting talents and offering nearby teams access to high-quality infrastructure.

In addition to this new project, Dr. Bawumia had previously unveiled the Naa Sheriga Sports Complex in Nalerigu, which was built through personal funding. The construction company Wembley Sports plans to complete the Gambaga facility within five months, with financial support from Ghana Gas.

The design of the complex includes seating for 1,000 spectators, a VIP section, restrooms for both patrons and participants, locker rooms, and various administrative offices.
