Update on Kotoko’s Felix Annan injury

The Porcupines have been forced to wait a while before discovering the full extent of their captain, Felix Annan’s ankle injury.

The goalkeeper picked up the injury in a training match at the Asako Jachie Training complex last week.

Felix Annan went into a 50-50 challenge with sliding tackle and appeared to have twisted his foot despite succeeding in clearing the ball out of danger.

Felix Annan has since undergone a scan whose result the medical team tells Kotoko Express App it is studying to determine the veracity of the injury.

“Felix Annan has had a scan and the result came a few days ago,” reveals Kotoko’s team Nurse, Andrew Owusu Amankwah who goes on to describe the speculations that the goalkeeper will miss the Premier League opening game on December 28, 2019, as a conjecture.

“We are studying the report to know the degree of his injury and how long it will take him to recover fully. We cannot be definite at the moment but would in a few day’s time when we are done with our assessment. It will be a conjecture if someone either than us put a time frame on his return.”
