    Congolese heavyweights, TP Mazembe are moving swiftly to secure the services of Hearts of Oak defender,Randy Ovouka Okemba.




    DR Congo giants TP Mazembe have expressed interest in signing the young defender from his current Phobian fold.

    Ovouka, the left-back has been an instant hit in his breakthrough season with the rainbow club earning him numerous admiration of many footballing loving fans within the club and beyond in the Ghana Premier League.

    The Congolese giants are looking to augment their side for the upcoming local and continental campaign and view the sporadic left-back as an ideal option to complement the full-back position.

    Reports suggest that negotiations with the player are far advanced pending an official fee to be reached between the two sides for the immediate transfer of the young lad to his home club.



    Following his dominant performance with his club, it earned him his very first national team call up for the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations qualifications but for the outbreak of coronavirus which had many competitions suspended.

    If this deal goes through, the young energetic full-back will get the needed exposure on the continent, as his home side have been very dominant on the African terrain in the last few years, winning back to back continental trophies in the year 2009/10

    Raddy Ovouka featured 12 for the Phobians before the league was put on hold amid a presidential directive to help mitigate the widespread of the coronavirus which plagued the country some months back.
