Asante Kotoko coach Prosper Narteh believes red card shown to defender Henry Ansu was harsh as the player had the right to complain to the referee.

Henry Ansu was shown a red card by the referee immediately after Asante Kotoko conceded a goal in the first half against Nsoatreman on Matchweek eight of the Ghana Premier League.

Speaking about the incident, Prosper Narteh believes his players have the right to complain about the decisions of the officials.

“There is no indiscipline in my team. When incidents happen, players have the right to complain” he said after the game

“If a player comes to complain and the referee feels he doesn’t;t have the right to, then pours his anger on the player and gives him a red card, then its up to you to judge,” Prosper Narteh said.

Asante Kotoko suffered a 1-0 defeat against Nsoatreman on Thursday. Prosper Narteh will be looking to return to winning ways in the next game when they face Dreams FC in the league.
