Special Competition: Medeama beat Berekum Chelsea to go top of Zone A table

Medeama were dominant against Berekum Chelsea on Wednesday as they registered a 2-1 victory at the Len Clay Sports Stadium in Obuasi.

The Mauve are now on top of the Zone A table with 16 points after their latest victory.

Oblitey Commey opened the scoring for Berekum Chelsea in the 28th minute.

Tahiru Awudu restored parity few minutes later before Dede Kalibo put them in front in the 43rd minute after chipping the ball past the goalkeeper.

Medeama defended their lead in the second half and made sure they went back with all three points.
