    Special Competition Matchday Two: Liberty Profs, Aduana win, Hearts lose

    Another evening of local football as the Matchday two of the Special Competition kicked off in the country.




    Liberty Professionals 4-0 Ebusua Dwarfs

    Liberty Professionals were excellent at home as they registered a 4-0 victory against 10-men Ebusua Dwarfs. Kwadwo Addai (OG), Emmanuel Addo brace and Benjamin Eshun’s goal did the job for the home team.

    Aduana Stars 2-1 Eleven Wonders 



    Aduana Stars went back to winning ways with a narrow win against Eleven Wonders. Yahaya Mohammed and Fatawu Abdul were on the score sheet for the home team while Alex Asamoah grabbed a consolation for the away side.

    Elmina Sharks 1-0 Hearts Of Oak

    Hearts Of Oak were defeated in Cape Coast by brilliant Elmina Sharks who waited till the closing minutes of the game to grab a winner through Felix Addo.



    Dreams FC 1-1 Karela United

    Karela United secured another point away from home as they held Dreams FC to a 1-1 draw on Wednesday in Dawu. Samuel Alabi opened the scoring for the home side while Diawisie Taylor restored parity.

    Bechem United 0-0 Ashanti Gold

    Ashanti Gold were held by Bechem United at the Nana Fosu Gyeabour Park. Salia Ouattara had the best chance of the game but couldn’t make it count.

    WAFA SC 1-1 Inter Allies

    WAFA secured a point in their encounter with Inter Allies at Sogakope. Kingsford Opoku opened the scoring for the home side before Effiong Nsungusi Jnr grabbed the equalizer for the visiting team.
