    Special Competition: Matchday 12 results: Kotoko, Hearts, Ashgold win, WAFA lose

    Here are the results for Matchday twelve of the Ghana Football Association Normalization Committee’s Special Competition.




    Berekum Chelsea 1-3 Bechem United

    Bechem United grabbed an important three points away from home on Wednesday when they beat Berekum Chelsea. Kojo Owusu, Charles Mensah, and Hope Aveyevu were on target for the visitors, whileFrincid Twene scored the only goal for the host.


    Asante Kotoko 1-0 Eleven Wonders

    Asante Kotoko are back to winning ways after winning narrowly against Elen Wonders, thanks to a penalty goal from defender Abdul Ganiyu.

    Ashantigold 4-1 Aduana Stars

    Ashantigold secured a heavy win against Aduana Stars on Wednesday. Shafiu Mumuni scored a hat trick for the gold miners before he later scored an own goal, Amos Nkrumah scored the fourth for the host.

    Inter Allies 0-2 Liberty Professionals



    Inter Allies poor run continues as they fail to win again against Liberty Professionals. George Ansong and Francis Owusu were on target for the away side.

    WAFA SC 0-1 Elmina Sharks



    Elmina Sharks pulled off a surprising result at Sogakope after beating WAFA on Wednesday. George Amonoo scored the only goal to give his side all three points.

    Hearts of Oak 1-0 Karela United



    Hearts of Oak secured their qualification after a narrow victory at the Accra Sports Stadium. Christopher Bonney scored a late penalty to make sure his team finishes the game with all three points.
