Talking about the partnership, Southampton’s Football Development Manager Andy Martino reveals plans to assist Kotoko with their Academy setup, player recruitments, and coach training.

“We have seasonal session plans coming out which are our macro plans, and also look at the recruitment process we use and how we can support you guys and obviously coach education,” Andy Martino said.

“If we can improve the coaches, then natural that means improving the players and develop the players and allow them to turn that potential into excellence. And that is the point of Nana Yaw’s academy dream”

” We also touched on sending staffs out to Ghana, definitely with me included and I’m eager to come out to look. I am looking forward to that. To come to see the players and coaching staff”

“And definitely bringing Kotoko staffs to Southampton so we can share how we do things around here; how we work with our players on daily basis, and to know the Southampton coaching staff and technical team” he added.
