Asante Kotoko failed to break the jinx on Saturday when they traveled to face Aduana Stars at the CAM Park, a venue where Kotoko are yet to secure a win in the league.

Aduana Stars held Kotoko to a goalless draw on Saturday. Kotoko are now winless in their last three games in the league and are slowly drifting away from the top spot.

Following the draw on Saturday, Mariano Barreto believes there is ‘something wrong” with Kotoko after his side struggled to score in the game.

“There is still something wrong because we played well in the first twenty-five minutes and missed one big chance but we did not play well in the last ten minutes of the first half”

“We gave too much space in the midfield, and the opponents created a lot of chance”

“Second half was completely different; we controlled all the game but we couldn’t score”

“We came to win but we didn’t win; so we are disappointed with the result”

Asante Kotoko sit at the top of the league with just one point above Hearts of Oak who will be playing Berekum Chelsea today at the Accra Sports Stadium.
