Sogne Yacouba fully fit and set to play for Kotoko

Sogne Yacouba has been declared fit and will return to training today according to the club management.

The striker has been out injured for over a month, his last game was against Al-Hilal in the CAF Confederation Cup for Kotoko.

Asante Kotoko Spokesperson Sarfo Duku revealed that the striker has been declared fully fit by the club’s medical team and could feature in the Special Competition.

“Yacouba Songne has been finally declared fit by the medical team of Asante Kotoko SC and he is available for selection if he fits into the coach’s tactics,” Kotoko spokesperson Sarfo Duku told Nhyira FM.

”Management expects him to start training today.”

Yacouba has been linked with a move away from the club, the club reportedly received offers for the player but none were good enough to ignite the transfer process.

Sogne Yacouba was one of Kotoko’s best players in their CAF Confederation Cup campaign, he scored one goal and provided five assists for the Porcupine Warriors.
