They kept on pressing GoldStars for an equalizer in the first half but were just finding the net.

Goldstars with a man down could not contain the pressure from Matic’s boys as they continued dominate.
Hearts of Oak staged a comeback led by substitute Isaac Mensah who slotted home from close range.
The match winner came from, Awako who scored a perfectly placed free kick as Hearts of Oak to earn all three maximum points.
This is their first win of the season and the first for coach Matic as he begins his tenure in Accra.
