We could have scored more than four goals – Kim Grant

Hearts Of Oak demolished WAFA SC at the Accra Sports Stadium on Sunday; the phobians registered a massive 4-0 victory at home, but their head coach Kim Grant insisted that his team could have scored more than four.

WAFA suffered their joint heaviest defeat in the topflight since 2004, Hearts Of Oak were too hot for them to handle as they succumbed to defeat on Sunday.

Mitchell Sarpong opened the scoring with a powerful effort before Fatawu Mohammed scored the second before the halftime whistle. Manaf Umar and substitute Kofi Kordzi scored in the second half to give their team a commanding victory against the Academy boys.

After the game, Hearts Head Coach Kim Grant stated that his side could have scored more goals and will need to work hard on their finishing.

“We could still be more clinical in front of goal, that’s if I could be a little critical about it. But overall, it was a brilliant performance and I am really proud of the boys” he said

“We had more chances to score more than four and we didn’t but we scored four and I am delighted and happy for the players” he added

Hearts registered their third consecutive victory in a roll without conceding. They will host Liberty Professionals on Wednesday and will look to maintain their winning form.
