    Samartex FC defeat Hearts of lions to go top of the GPL



    Samartex FC climbed to the top of the Ghana Premier league table with a convincing 2-0 victory over Heart of Lions.

    The match,  at the Nsenkyire Sports Arena  saw two second-half goals from Emmanuel Mamah and Evans Osei-Wusu.

    This triumph solidified Samartex FC’s flawless home record, giving them a two-point lead at the top of the standings.

    Emmanuel Mamah opened the scoring just after halftime in the 47th minute, and Evans Osei-Wusu extended the lead.

    Despite the visitors’ determined effort, Samartex FC demonstrated their dominance on their home turf, capitalizing on defeats suffered by Aduana and Nsoatreman in their respective 14th matchday encounters.

    Heart of Lions, on the other hand, find themselves entrenched at the bottom of the standings, continuing their quest for a maiden win in the campaign.
