    Released Hearts of Oak defender dreams of playing for Chelsea

    Ghana Premier League defender Larry Sumaila who was recently released by Hearts of Oak has set a new goal for himself after ending his stay at the Accra-based club.



    Sumaila revealed he intends in winning the European Champions League and playing for Chelsea after winning every possible local trophy in Ghana Football.

    “Locally, I have won every trophy. Despite limited game time, I was able to help Hearts of Oak win five trophies in the 2021/22 season” he told Bryt FM

    “Now, the target is to win the Champions League that is why I am dreaming to play for Chelsea in England. I know is it not an easy task but I believe I can achieve it with God” he added.

    Larry Sumaila played a few games for Hearts of Oak in the just-ended season but failed to cement his place in the first team.
