Ghanaian referee Daniel Nii Laryea has been chosen to officiate at the upcoming FIFA U17 World Cup final event set to be held in Indonesia.

At 34 years old, he stands as the sole Ghanaian referee to secure a spot in this esteemed tournament in Southeast Asia. Laryea joins the ranks of 11 African match officials who will preside over the matches.

With a wealth of experience, he has overseen high-profile matches in AFCON qualifiers, the CAF Champions League, and the Confederation Cup.
