    Asante Kotoko SC goalkeeper Razak Abalora is close to completing a move to Moldovan giants FC Sheriff Tiraspol.



    The 25-year-old will arrive in Tiraspol in a few days to complete other details of his transfer after passing a medical examination, his outfit Asante Kotoko has been in negotiations with the Moldova team.

    The ex WAFA graduate is likely to sign a four to five years contract with Sheriff which will make him teammates to Ghanaian compatriots Edmund Addo and Abdul Basit Khalid when he joins the Moldovan side.

    From Azam FC to Asante Kotoko in October, the shot-stopper has been pivotal to the Porcupine Warriors league journey making 27 appearances in the Red shirt last season where he kept 13 clean sheets and conceded 18 goals in the process.



    He played 9 matches in the Ghana Premier League this campaign and has managed to keep 5 clean sheets and conceded 6 goals.

    The highly-rated goalkeeper has four caps for the Black Stars since making his debut on 12 October 2020 in 5-1 win against Qatar in an international friendly.
