Ghana’s Raphael Dwamena has signed a year contract extension with FK Egnatia.

Raphael Dwamena, a forward from Ghana, has pledged his future to FK Egnatia by agreeing to a fresh two-year contract with the Albanian Superliga club.

After joining the team in January 2023, the 27-year-old had an immediate impact, assisting them in securing a third-place finish that season.

Dwamena showcased his scoring abilities by finding the back of the net on 12 occasions in 24 games across different competitions. Additionally, he exhibited his playmaking skills with 9 assists.

His remarkable accomplishments caught the attention of Egnatia’s management, who swiftly took action to ensure his services for the upcoming seasons.

Having previously played for respected clubs like Red Bull Salzburg, FC Zurich, Real Zaragoza, and Levante, Dwamena has accumulated valuable experience throughout his career.

His time at FK Egnatia has been highly successful, and the club is thrilled to retain him as they strive to capitalize on their recent achievements.

With a third-place finish in the previous season, earning 52 points, FK Egnatia has set ambitious objectives for the future. Dwamena’s signing strengthens their attacking options and provides a consistent source of goals for the team.

As the Ghanaian striker continues his football journey in Albania, FK Egnatia hopes that his goal-scoring prowess and creative contributions can propel them to further triumphs in the Albanian Superliga and beyond.
