     Hamburger SV forward, Ransford-Yeboah Königsdörffer makes Black Stars Debut in win over Nicaragua.


    The former youth international for Germany, switched allegiances to Ghana with other players of Ghanaian decent like Inaki Williams and Tariq Lamptey.

    Königsdörffer was introduced in the second half of the game to replace goal scorer, Fatawu Issahaku in the 82nd minute of the game. Though Königsdörffer had little to do, he should glimpses of what he can do.

    The Black stars finished the game with a 1-0 victory over Nicaragua having controlled the game from the start. Issahaku’s 35th minute shot made the difference for the day.

    The team continues to prepare for the Qatar 2022 World cup with coach Otto Addo and his technical team, hoping to qualify from the group stage. The next test for the Black stars will be against Switzerland in another friendly game in the buildup to the world cup.
