Asante Kotoko coach Prosper Narteh wants the fans to be patient as he continues to implement his philosophy and game style in his new club.

The coach stated after their 3-1 comeback win against Dreams FC that he is bringing a new game model to the club and will need time to perfect it.

“It is a game model we are trying to develop. In developing a good model, players will have to think the way the coach thinks and also believe in the way the coach believes football should be played” he said

“They are not used to the game model so I am bringing in new players and blending with the old players even though the old players are not familiar with the new model”

“As games unfold, they are going to understand themselves automatically without even thinking about what decisions to take. We are just in the early stage of the process”

“My Philosophy is having possession with purpose, circulate the ball from the back through the middle to the final third, that is my style of play” he added.

Asante Kotoko traveled back to Kumasi with all three points and will be facing Bechem United at the Baba Yara Stadium next on Match Week 2.
