Asante Kotoko coach Prosper Narteh gave thoughts on Fabio Gama after the Brazillian made his long-awaited return to the team after an injury spell.

Fabio Gama came in the second half in Kotoko’s goalless draw against Bechem United, the talented midfielder replaced Mudasiru in the 72nd minute of the game.

“The reason why we brought him (Fabio Gama)  in was to come and bring some combination play in the middle of the park,” Prosper Narteh said

“But the game was so physical and this didn’t permit him to play properly. As a player coming back from injury, we have to be satisfied with his performance”

“He needs to mentally and physically get himself ready, especially for away game and the pitches. That’s what I have to do on him to get ready for the subsequent games” he added

Fabio Gama was a key player at Asante Kotoko last season and contributed to the team in several ways, he is however trying to get back into the first team this season after returning from injury.
