The local players included in the 30-man provisional squad by Ghana Black Stars coach Milovan Rajevac are currently on their way to Qatar to join the team in Doha as they prepare for the AFCON tournament.

Fatawu Issahaku, David Abagna, Maxwell Abbey Quaye, and Richard Attah were pictured at the airport getting ready to leave Ghana for Qatar. Philemon Baffour is reportedly in Portugal to sign a deal with a club and will join the team in Doha afterward.
