Tanzania women’s Champions, Simba Queens has completed the signing of Ghanaian striker Philomena Abakah from Berry Ladies participating in the Premier League in Ghana.

The lanky forward joined the East Africa side on a 2-year deal on Tuesday.

Philomena’s signing marks her the third player to move to the club ahead of the season after Ibinabo, whom we introduced yesterday with Zainabu Mohamed.

Yesterday we completed the signing of striker Ibinabo Alex from Confluence Queens FC of Nigeria.

We continue to strengthen our squad for the upcoming league season with the CECAFA Championship which will start later this month in Arusha.

Our goal is to make sure we have a strong team that will enable us to defend our Serengeti Lite Women’s Premier League title.

Abeka contributed to 11 goals, scored 7, and assisted 4 in 18 games for Berry Ladies in the Ghana Women’s Premier League.
