    Paide Linnameeskond unveil ex Man City player, Thomas Agyepong as new signing.



    Thomas Agyepong,  has finalized his move to Estonian top-tier club Paide Linnameeskond during the summer transfer window.

    Agyepong, who previously played for Manchester City, has signed a contract with Paide that will last until the end of the year.

    After spending eight years with the English champions, Agyepong departs following several loan stints.

    Expressing his contentment, Agyepong stated, “I am delighted and satisfied in Paide. It is a club that has made significant progress and shows promise in recent years.”

    He added, “The team has warmly welcomed me, and I eagerly anticipate the exciting journey that lies ahead. Thank you, and I’ll see you at the stadium!”

    The Ghana international, who has been capped seven times, has played for various teams such as Hibernian, NAC Breda, Waasland Beveren, and Lommel SK.

    Gert Kams, Paide’s Sporting Director, described Agyepong as an exceptional winger with extensive experience at both club and national team levels.

    Kams remarked, “His arrival adds speed and sharpness to our team’s attacking third, as well as providing technical unpredictability to pose a threat to the opponent’s goal. Welcome to Paide, Thomas!”

    Agyepong may potentially make his debut for Paide in the match against Flora on July 7, 2023.
