    Osman Bukari donates to support Okwawu United



    Red Star Belgrade winger Osman Bukari has showcased his charitable spirit by making a significant donation to his beloved hometown club, Okwawu United.

    While the exact amount remains undisclosed, the impact of Bukari’s donation on the club’s aspirations is immense, with team leaders expressing immense gratitude.

    Inspired by the generosity of their fellow countryman, the team has vowed to maintain focus and fight relentlessly to achieve their goal of qualifying for the Division One League and ultimately reaching the Ghana Premier League.

    Deputy Captain Ernest Asare, speaking on behalf of the team, expressed profound appreciation to Bukari for his exceptional support. Asare emphasized that the club would utilize this remarkable contribution to restoring its former glory.

    The faith shown by their hometown hero has served as motivation for the players, instilling pride and determination within the team.

    During Bukari’s visit to the training grounds, he received a warm welcome from the aspiring footballers.

    The players’ excitement was palpable as they meticulously prepared for their upcoming Middle League encounter, which holds great significance in their quest for promotion to the Division One League.



    At the training facilities, Osman Bukari engaged with the players, offering words of encouragement as they geared up for their crucial Middle League match, a pivotal step towards their Division One League aspirations.

    The 24-year-old winger had an exceptional debut season at Red Star Belgrade, netting 12 goals in the Serbian league as the team secured the league and cup double.

    Bukari’s impressive performances have earned him a spot in the latest Black Stars squad, which is soon to commence preparations for their upcoming Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Madagascar in 2023.
