    DR Congo side have announced the signing of former Asante Kotoko defender Abdul Ganiyu, the club announced via their social media on Thursday.



    The club confirmed the player joins the African giants on a 2 and half year deal.

    Abdul Ganiyu who recently left his Iraqi club will be facing a new challenge in DR Congo where he will be looking to maintain his commanding defensive performance.

    Ganiyu captained Kotoko in their title-winning 2021/22 season in the Ghana Premier League.
