    FC Samartex announce appointment of Nurudeen Amadu as new head coach.



    FC Samartex 1996 has officially announced the appointment of Nurudeen Amadu as their new head coach.

    The 52-year-old coach will be replacing Annor Walker, who left the team at the conclusion of the 2022-23 season to rejoin Great Olympics FC.

    Having previously worked with Future Stars FC in the Division One league, Amadu’s remarkable efforts were recognized, leading to his selection as the head coach for FC Samartex.

    He has signed a two-year contract with the club, based in Samreboi, and is expected to lead the team to greater achievements in the upcoming season.

    In their debut season in the Ghana Premier League, Samartex finished 10th on the league standings after 34 matches, securing a total of 46 points.

    Amadu has a rich history in coaching, having previously served as the coach for clubs like Wa All Stars, Bolga All Stars, and Aduana Stars. Moreover, he also worked as an assistant coach for the Ghana U17 and U20 national teams in the past.
