We are not terminating our deal with Paradise Pac – Asante Kotoko

The management of Asante Kotoko have denied reports that the club are on the verge of terminating their deal with water company Paradise Pac, the Club’s PRO stated that the news is untrue.

    The Club’s statement:

Management has rubbished reports that it wants to terminate the club’s water sponsorship deal with purified water manufactures, Paradise Pac Drinking Water.

Reports have gone viral in a section of the media that, the club was not happy with how things have gone so far with Paradise Pac a year into the two-year partnership deal.

The unsubstantiated report, which emanated from a Kumasi-based radio station before it was fed on by some media houses, suggested that the Porcupines, as a result, want to opt-out of the deal.

However, the Public Relations Officer (PRO), Kennedy Boakye-Ansah has told Kotoko Express App that the claims were untrue and also alien to management’s thinking.

“We have neither abrogated nor thought about abrogating the contract between us and our water sponsors, Paradise Pac Drinking Water. We currently have a two-year deal and are bent on seeing to the end of it. The rumours making rounds are false, and we entreat the general public and everyone affected by them to disregard them”.

The Porcupines and the water company owned by Black Stars General Captain, Asamoah Gyan, signed a partnership agreement on October 18, 2018. The deal made the former the club’s official water providers.
