Nations FC go top in Division One Zone 2 as Skyy FC receive six  point deduction for double player registration.

Sky FC have been deducted  six points for fielding an unqualified player in the ongoing Zone 2 National Division One league.

Sky was leading the league as they were cruising to the GPL come next season. The point deduction as seen Nations Fc overtake them on the league table.

Nations protested  that winger Victor Edgan JNR was ‘unqualified’ to play for the Skyy FC team because he did not have the necessary certification for a name change and had used two separate FIFA ID numbers with the name Victor Mends in the second round (10FLEL5) and (1GEDWQ0).

Although Skyy FC has the option to challenge the ruling, Nations FC are currently back in first place in the race to qualify for the Ghana Premier league next season.

With six games left in their zone, Nations FC are therefore likely to be promoted to the top division.
