Ten minutes later, the newcomers to the Premiership reaped the rewards of their dominance as Barimah Baah skillfully netted, marking Nations’ inaugural top-flight goal at the Kwame Kyei Sports Complex.

Ivorian midfielder Amidou Diarra sealed the victory for Nations in the 66th minute, capitalizing on a mistake by James Sewornu as they continued to assert their dominance in the latter period of the match.

The coach expressed his relief following the win, saying, “This victory was truly crucial for us, particularly after our challenging loss in the initial game. Our approach coming into this match was crystal clear: we were determined to secure the win. We gave our utmost effort on the field.”
