The 29-year-old, who previously led the Ghana U17 national team, is embarking on a new chapter in his career, joining his fifth European club.

Since his debut in Europe after leaving Rainbow FC in 2012, Nasiru Mohammed has played for several clubs, including Häcken, Levski Sofia, and Norrby.

Although his time with Trollhättan in March 2023 saw limited playing time, with just five appearances and one goal, Nasiru Mohammed remains determined to revive his career at Ekenas IF. The Finnish club views him as a valuable asset, given his experience and potential to make a positive impact on their performance.
