The Ghana Football Association has officially released the Round of 16 fixtures for the 2025/26 MTN FA Cup, setting the stage for another exciting chapter in Ghana’s oldest knockout competition.
The draw, which features a mix of Premier League heavyweights and lower-division challengers, will see matches played between February 6 and February 9, 2026, as clubs battle for places in the quarterfinals.
One of the standout stories heading into the Round of 16 is True Life FC, the only Division Two side left in the competition. True Life made national headlines in the Round of 64 after eliminating Accra Hearts of Oak, a Ghana Premier League club, with a famous 1–0 victory. Their fairytale run continues as they now prepare for another stern test against Hearts of Lions.
The Division One League remains well represented, with Atram De Visser, Tamale City, Real Tamale United, Inter Allies, and Techiman Liberty Youth all securing spots in the last 16. Their presence reinforces the competitive depth of the FA Cup, where league status offers no guarantees.
The rest of the field is made up of Ghana Premier League sides, including defending champions Asante Kotoko, who will face a tough challenge against Aduana FC in one of the headline fixtures. Other notable matchups include Medeama SC vs FC Samartex 1996 and Eleven Wonders vs Atram De Visser, promising intense battles across the country.
