Morocco has teamed up with Spain and Portugal in bid to co-host 2030 World Cup.

Morocco have presented a  bid to co-host the 2030 FIFA World Cup alongside Portugal and Spain.

This is Morocco’s sixth attempt to host the World Cup with the previous five failing.

Initially,  the bid was to see Ukraine  co-host the tournament together with Portugal and Spain but had to pull out due to the ongoing crises in the country.

The ongoing conflict in Ukraine makes it extremely difficult for the country to give any sort of assurances of safety.

Morocco’s bid has strong competition from a  combined bid from Argentina, Chile, Paraguay, and Uruguay, who have also prepared their own bid for the tournament’s centenary celebrations.

It it yet to be known who FIFA will call upon to host the 2030 World Cup with fans and football lovers all waiting patiently for the announcement.
