Ghana’s Mohammed Salisu was unplayable against Arsenal in the EPL over the weekend with the match ending in a 1-1 draw.

Salisu played 90 minutes and was phenomenal during the game. The defender was without his usual CB partner  Armel Bella-Kotchap.

Arsenal opened the scoreline through Granit Xhaka in the 11th minute but Southampton equalized in the 65th minute through Stuart Armstrong with a move initiated by Salisu.

Salisu managed 4 clearances, 6 ball recoveries and 1/2 tackles won. The Ghanaian also completed 4/7 long passes and had 65 touches in the match.

Fellow Ghanaian, Thomas Partey was also in action for his club Arsenal as they battled to earn a point away from home.

Arsenals 8 game winning streak came to end after an impressive display from Mohammed Salisu denied them of their ninth straight victory.

Ghana is hoping to see Salisu in a similar form come November at the Qatar 2022.
