Mohammed Salisu’s uncle has stated that the player has promised to come play for Ghana in their crucial World Cup Qualifiers clash against Nigeria in March.

The Southampton player has previously rejected several National team callups because of previous issues with certain people at the Football scene in Ghana, but his uncle says the player has promised to honor the next call-up.

“He (Mohammed Salisu) has promised to come for Ghana vs Nigeria World Cup Qualifiers game in March” Yakubu Ahmed told Sikka FM

Ghana Black Stars suffered a disppointing AFCON campaign in Cameroon which has resulted to several backlashes and the scak of Milovan Rajevac.

However, Ghana will be looking to bounce back from the AFCON disappointment when  they host Nigeria in March in the first leg of the World Cup Qualifiers.
