Mohammed Kudus withdraws from upcoming friendlies against Nigeria and Uganda.

West Ham United have confirmed that midfielder Mohammed Kudus will not participate in Ghana’s upcoming international friendlies against Nigeria and Uganda.

The reason for his withdrawal was not specified, but reports suggest he is dealing with a shoulder injury, which has prevented him from joining the Black Stars in Morocco.

West Ham is expected to provide a medical report to the Ghana Football Association on Wednesday regarding Kudus’ condition.

The club announced on their official website that both Kudus and Michail Antonio have withdrawn from international duty with Jamaica and Ghana, respectively, after being initially called up earlier this month.

Kudus played the full 90 minutes in West Ham’s 1-1 draw with Aston Villa in the Premier League on Sunday.

His absence will be a significant setback for Ghana’s coach, Otto Addo, who had planned to build his new Black Stars team around the talented midfielder.

The Black Stars will take on the Super Eagles on Friday before facing Uganda four days later.
