The Millennium Supporters Union of Ghana (MISUGHA), Volta Region, has declared its readiness to storm the Accra Sports Stadium in full force on Sunday, February 8, 2026, to rally behind Ghana’s Women’s Under-20 side, the Black Princesses, in their crucial FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup qualifier against South Africa.
The highly anticipated encounter, scheduled for 3:30pm, is the first leg of the third-round qualifiers for the 2026 FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup, set to take place in Poland from September 5 to 27, 2026.
Ghana’s Black Princesses enter the fixture determined to take a decisive step toward qualification, with victory potentially paving the way for progression to the fourth and final round and keeping alive hopes of a record eighth consecutive appearance at the global showpiece.
The Princesses booked their place in this round after a dominant display against Tunisia in the second round, securing a 4–0 aggregate victory, with 2–0 wins in both legs, underlining their credentials as one of Africa’s most consistent youth sides.
The return leg of the third-round qualifier is scheduled for Saturday, February 14, 2026, in South Africa, making a strong home performance in Accra vital for Ghana’s ambitions.
Ahead of Sunday’s showdown, MISUGHA Volta executives were in Accra on Thursday, February 5, 2026, where they participated in a general meeting of the Millennium Supporters Union of Ghana. The meeting was graced by Hon. Betty Krosbi Mensah, Chairperson of the Black Queens B Management Committee, highlighting the growing synergy between supporters and stakeholders in women’s football.
Supporters used the meeting to rehearse and organize ahead of Sunday’s match, reaffirming their commitment to creating a vibrant atmosphere for the Black Princesses.
