Medeama sign cooperation agreement with Al Nasr SC

Medeama has signed a collaboration agreement with Al Nasr SC based in Dubai to facilitate the exchange of technical and administrative expertise, marking a significant development for the Ghanaian champions.

The agreement was formalized in the presence of Al Nasr chairman Abdulla Bin Touq and Medeama president Moses Armah at the Al-Maktoum Stadium. This landmark agreement occurred during Medeama’s trip to Algiers for their final CAF Champions League match against CR Belouizdad.

This move makes Medeama the first Ghanaian club in recent memory to establish official relations with a club from the United Arab Emirates.

The collaboration agreement includes various aspects such as technical and sports cooperation to enhance international exposure and create more global opportunities for both clubs.

The terms of the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) aim to facilitate learning and sharing of best practices between the two clubs.

Additionally, the partnership involves technical knowledge sharing for both senior and youth teams, capacity building for administrators, sponsorship opportunities, exchange visits by technical staff and football management experts, as well as other areas deemed necessary to promote the interests of both parties.

The agreement was finalized with Moses Armah signing on behalf of Medeama and Abdulla Bin Touq signing on behalf of Al Nasr, with officials from both clubs serving as witnesses.

As part of the collaboration, Medeama conducted a one-day training camp at the Al Nasr facility on Wednesday, February 28, 2024, before traveling to Algeria for their final CAF Champions League group stage match against CR Belouizdad.
